The Montcalm Collection of hotels are luxury properties situated in historic central London locations.
Montcalm approached Rise Art to manage their art programming, with the goal of enhancing their distinctive brand identity, augmenting the guest experience in new and creative ways.
Working alongside senior management across the group structure, Rise Art has placed artwork across multiple properties to enhance the distinctive aesthetics of each property.
Additionally, Rise Art has curated art exhibition programming for the group, most notably at Montcalm Royal London House, formerly the headquarters of the Royal Mail, located in Finsbury Square.
The collaboration features regular exhibitions, with artwork placed across the lobby and ground floor of the hotel. Guest events, digital catalogues and artist interviews activate the collaboration, and provide opportunities for the hotel to engage with guests before, during and after their visit.
This ongoing collaboration has become a central pillar of the hotel’s identity, providing numerous opportunities for guests to engage with the hotel. See an example of our exhibition programming for The Montcalm Collection here.
"Montcalm collection is committed to shaping the future of art. Working with Rise Art allows us to create innovative and authentic ways for people to engage with art."
Samantha van Exter, Montcalm Collection Head of Hotels
"Through the partnership with Montcalm, Rise Art has helped present my practice in a unique way, which led to more individuals discovering my work than would do at a normal gallery exhibition."
Kevin Jackson, Artist
